The Detailed Matchbox Collectibles available at our store are quite different from the small, low-cost Matchbox models mass-marketed to children. These models, which we call "Platinum Editions" feature superior levels of detailing and decoration, a high number of quality parts, and all-die-cast chassis. In addition, each "Platinum Edition" vehicle is sold with a certificate of authenticity in an elegant collector box.
Matchbox has discontinued their mail order business, and now have their models sold through independent dealers. We now stock over 200 different models, and will not be able to add all of these to our web site, so feel free to send an e-mail with your requests. Most auto and pickup models are 1:43rd scale, so they are a great addition to your "O" scale train layout.
